Inside of the mind of every wrestler lurks his demons. They are the little voices of fear, doubt, and the lack of confidence. Your mission in a match is to get these little voices inside your opponent’s head to start talking to him. And to have your opponent believe what they are saying.

It may have been in the finals when Anthony Sparacio got his hand raised, but it was when he was at a 46% angle in the semi-finals when he won his New York State championship.

I needn't remind you that you didn't set out to achieve something ordinary. You set out to accomplish something extraordinary. Therefore it is going to require an extraordinary effort.

Taking 3rd is the hardest thing to do in wrestling. In order to take third, it means you suffered a devastating loss along the way, and you had the mental toughness and the ability to handle adversity, to regroup and to keep moving forward.
